Can’t be worse than High School of the Dead.

Impressions:

A decent episode, but mostly notable for the giant cat censoring anything and everything within a foot of any female’s crotch. Does a bikini bottom really need to be censored? Of course, they first censored it, then removed the censor when Iroha started pulling it down to give a better look, or better yet, censor panty shots, but not Nao’s stacked friend wearing nothing but extremely skimpy panties and a shirt. Somebody clearly waxes. I can only assume that the censorship is being outsourced to India where it’s being handled by a sacred cow.

Iroha wasn’t really that amusing this week unfortunately. Some of Nao’s delusions, and bizarrely rationalized encouraging were fun, but I think the friends and their mother sold most of the humor this week. The first half was Iroha’s forced date with Shuu. They attracted the entire rest of the cast as a chain of stalkers before Shuu used his flawless logic to point out that they’re not actually going out, whereupon Iroha tried to drag him off to seal the deal as it were. Nao spent most of the rest of the episode torturing Shuu until he gave in to his urges, and one exhausting night later, he was back to his pre-Iroha self. Iroha’s report on that night was probably very… very… disturbing. And possibly sticky.
