Samurai Girls #06 — Jellyfish Vagina

November 7th, 2010

Don’t mind me, just messing with Google’s searches.

Impressions:

Yeah, so… this episode was mostly just Naoe screwing around again, whereupon she whipped out some random widget Sen’s brother gave her, which turned into a giant jellyfish. It then proceeded to eat her, tentacle Matabei and Hanzou, and then turn into a giant vagina with tentacles coming out of it. That, however, was not the strange part of the episode. The censoring this week was incomprehensible. Sen’s panties are perfectly okay to show, but not Naoe’s bathing suit bottom. Hanzou in a nightshirt? Censored. Matabei being tentacle raped as her nipples fight a valiant battle against her shirt? No censoring needed there. And perhaps the weirdest, naked Naoe with Muneakira squirting ‘lotion’ on her face and breasts? Nah. No need for censorship. There’s sticky white liquid covering her nipples. Nobody’s pure mind could be harmed by that.

And did I mention the giant vagina that attacked them yet? Yeah.

I guess there was also some rot about going to the beach because Sen’s a super hacker and then Sen and Yukimura learning a valuable lesson about teamwork, but whatever. Hopefully it’s the end of the Naoe saga at any rate. She’s still done nothing but annoy me, spawn giant genitalia, and urinate on innocent earthworms. I am getting a little concerned that the show seems to have come to more or less a complete halt for the last few episodes. This was never a particularly plot driven show to begin with, but Muneakira is getting lamer by the episode and the cast seems content to spin their wheels fighting over him. It’s still a decent comedy, and better than certain other shows I could name, but it’s really not living up to the potential it showed in the first couple episodes yet.

Damn, now every time I go looking for my favourite fetish I am gonna end up here!

  • Dual says:

Wicked ep. Censorship was unstable this time but at least Naoe’s best shot was mostly ink-free.

I think ARMS may be planning another season, considering how slowly things are moving so far.

    Damn.

This show seemed like it had such promise at the beginning. What the fsk? Why the stupid filler garbage? The evil brother looks ominous enough … why not send in a legion of assassins or explore the “school” more? Why do this shit with moronic beach filler?

This season is going to be awash in shows that flame out 1/2 way through. Is “Milky Holmes” really our only bit of contemporary salvation?

    Sad.
