Maiden Demon Zakuro #04 — HEY YOU GUYS

Get back in your hole, you inhuman wretch!

Impressions:

Bleh episode with the worst of the girliest of girly nonsense causing drama. "Yeah, uh, that sword? It’s evil and cursed and turns people into killers… BUT I DIDN’T WANT TO SAY ANYTHING." "Don’t worry, pathetic girl. I am Model #2, Strong and Silent Bishie. Just gaze at my manly shoulders and continue being weak and useless." Psychometry is best used for evil, or at the very least, torture. I miss you, Shiho. At least Hotaru wasn’t telepathically raped… yet. That puts her one-up on Troi.

There really not too much more to say beyond that. Neither Riken nor Hotaru had persoalities before this episode, and neither has a personality after this episode. They are boring lumps of mud, only one has breasts and can feel things. I will say that the damn Mugi creature may have frayed my last nerve with this episode too. Every damn time that thing popped up, it filled the entire screen and screamed at me with its freakish… unliving… unholy… soul destroying… eyes. I need to go lie down before I attempt to throttle something.

    I still liked the episode, though. I know it can pass as generic show #2345 but I liked it anyway. Thank you for blogging it :)

      Yeah. Looking back at my post, I didn’t hate the episode that much. I think I was just annoyed and tired.

      We all miss her. So, whoever has the power of nihongo could please do a little research and make sure if they sold enough ovas already to grant a new ZKC serie to us useless mortals?
      (they asked 20k ovas to be sold didn’t they?)

    This anime is a snorefest, could they make a show with halfdemons that are actually threatening and violent and not these stupid and insecure girls? I’m pretty sure pokemon has more violence than this.

    Definitely dropping this now, next episode seems more of the same.
