Go away! I need a nap!

Impressions:

I’ve long since run out of things to say about this show. The only thing that really varies from episode to episode is what setting they suddenly dump the characters into for 8 minutes and whether or not they do it at the start or the end of the episode. I guess this episode had fewer dirty jokes than usual, outside of the butt flowers at the start and fellating bananas at the end, but Suzu’s still short, Tsuda’s still putupon, etc etc etc. Even when they introduce new characters, like this week’s Dejima, they’re all just one dimensional cardboard cutouts with a single character trait which is then hammered into your skull. A deadpan maid. Wow. I haven’t seen that eighty thousand times before.

Anyway, very little of note this week. Dejima is about as interesting as watching paint dry and Aria’s Days of Our Lives play was about the only good part of the culture festival. The rest was as completely undirected and forgettable as usual. I almost want the show to get worse so like Princess Lover at least it would be fun to mock. This is just tedious and makes me want to take a nap. I seriously miss the energy and production from the first episode. Yeah, it’s been gone since episode 2, but it’s still a footnote of what the show could have and should have been.
