Mitsudomoe #12 — A Return To Normalcy

September 18th, 2010

Doesn’t this show already have two or three characters for this role?

Impressions:

Eh. This was certainly better than most, but Miyashita’s just so tired of an archetype and they did absolutely nothing new or interesting with her, yet she consumed about half the episode. I’m also not sure why the show needs yet another straight man character either. Her biggest defining trait is that she’s completely ignorant of the Gachi Rangers. The sports stuff with Satou and his stalkers was also okay, but nothing worthy of more than a grin or two. Satou plays dodgeball, now I’m jealous of the girl he talked out of killing hersef for accidentally hitting him. Satou loves soccer… now I’m jealous of the ball. Pretty much the same as the last time we saw them.

The first part was just an introduction to Miyashita, the ‘normal’ girl of the class. Then brief tedium of Yabecchi’s Room again before boys vs girls dodgeball. The guys try to get Futaba out first, which the stalkers think means he’s giving special attention to her, yada yada, suicide attempts. Part three was about the same, only with soccer and no suicide threats. The last part was Miyashita trying to get friendly with Hitoha through knowledge of Hitoha’s like of Super Hero shows, which backfires because she’s a poser.

And again, I’m off next weekend to camp. The last episode will be posted on either Sunday night or Monday.

Hitoha’s speech at the end was AWESOME.

“I’m tired of all these misunderstandings!”

I feel sorry for Miyashita i mean all she wants to do is be friends with Hitoha but she just HORRIBLE at it. P.S there is NEVER a green ranger.

  • Yue says:

GASP! I can’t believe Satou is such a lucky kid. By the time he turns to an adult, his luck will run out. ~_~
