Mitsudomoe #11 — Strain and Recycle

Bleh.
Impressions:
Good god, Bridge. Exactly how hard did you have squeeze that stone get this out? "Kuriyama isn’t wearing her glasses, so she assumes a random student is covered in blood, ties student up (who apparently turns blind, deaf, and stupid in the process), leaves, and student fights a chair." "Mitsuba randomly runs into a hardcore masochist (the Sugisakis’ mother) that begs her for abuse." These segments had all the subtlety and wit of a hungover rhinoceros trying to blend into a herd of squid. There’s a limit to suspension of disbelief. The nurse having multiple gallons worth of children’s urine and repeatedly pouring them into things was stretching it. Those two segments obliterated it. Why not just add the Great Gazoo too?
I’m sure crapping out the exact same Gachi Ranger belt joke as last week was probably easy for them in comparison, which just leaves a single segment with any real hope, and it was mostly about people orgasming when they touch Mitsuba’s stomach. They really should have taken that and run with it, not spit out a 40 second infomercial about weight loss belts. It was still better than the other three and showed a hint of creativity, but I seriously miss the energy and drive of those first few episodes where they had multiple jokes in a segment. It seems like so very very long ago and so much to ask for from the show these days. Le sigh.

Fear Futaba’s well-rounded butt. FEAR IT!
Also, what the FUCK is up with Mika’s mom? Is she really that lonely?
And it looks like Bridge remembered Aki Toyosaki has a role in this series.
