A Certain Railgun Patch

August 17th, 2010

Go get it.
And now let us forget that this ever existed. I am hoping that this is like BMW Act 1 and just Werk’s way of doing a proof of concept test before making a real game, but somehow… I doubt it. It’s a shame to see all this spriting talent turn out what is basically a gimmicky Flash game. Now if they’d only make their Battle Idol Wars or whatever the hell their April Fool’s joke from a year or two back was… we’d be in business.

I’m going to assume that the Internet has it.

Or maybe here. There are some links to Melonbooks and Tora no Ana.

If only that F/SN 2D fighter from a while back wasn’t a joke.

    aroduc, you have my thanks.

  • Shinkei says:

Aw come on… the game wasn’t that bad…right? RIGHT!??!

  • Gawl says:

Darn it, just getting a black screen with music playing when trying to run the game on Vista Ultimate.

    • Aroduc says:

      Turn off desktop composition.

Or something. I forget what exactly.

I had this problem in the demo, assuming it’s the same problem I’ll just copy+paste what I wrote on the demo post.

Just in case anyone else gets this problem, on Windows 7 64 bit The game would boot up but there would be nothing on display (everything would be completely black but I could hear sounds).

To get it to work I had to right click the .exe and go to properties>compatibility. On that page I had to click the box under “Settings” called “Disable desktop composition”.

the translation does not work for me, I have the game and put it in the same folder but whenever I try and open it it says it could not be located on your system please re-install and try again even though I already have the game on my computer.

    Hey there!

    Awesome patch for the game!
I downloaded it and it was great, didn’t have any problem with it.

    Did you do that patch?
In that case, I would like to know how did you do it, and which program did you use. I want to translate it to Spanish. I will also need your permission to do that.

    Thanks!
