Impressions:

If the balance of power between Mitsudomoe and this continues to be maintained, then Mitsu’s probably going to have a pretty good episode this week. This episode wasn’t terrible by any stretch, but it was centered around Agnes, who isn’t getting any more amusing, and the weird fanservice was just as out of place as ever. Take anything I said about last week’s episode and just repeat it here. Hell, it was an episode centered around mining for rocks that make baths warm… which also have the side effect of making homunculi slightly high. Minette and the cat-thing are already probably tripping anyway, maybe it’ll help them mellow out a bit. There’s only so much one can expect from that and they hit every cliche, from the earthquake cave-in to the lantern trembling in the fragile girl’s hands as she tries to be brave.

Leicester also has either nerves of steel, no testicles, or a phobia about either Carina or Chelsea cutting off his manhood if they found him naked with Agnes. I don’t know how he did it, although since Agnes turned around and went straight for Carina’s chest not thirty seconds later, it’s pretty obvious how she survived his raging buffet of manliness right in front of her. May I also say that this has to be one of the hottest pictures of breasts that I have ever seen in any anime ever made? Whew. I think I need to go take a cold shower.

Also of related interest to some, Milestone released about half a dozen clips of its upcoming Wii VN mashup fighter, Twinkle Queen, which includes characters from Campanella (Agnes, Carina, and Chelsea are the only ones shown) as well as Koihime Musou and Tayutama. It looks… well… like a very  very cheap game. Danke to Setra for letting me know.
