Overrun by Stray Cats! #10 — Stockholm Syndrome

I would make a pun with felony and feline, but that would probably get me arrested or beaten.

Impressions:

Not really that good or bad of an episode, or even notable in any way whatsoever for that matter. Otome kidnaps a girl and Nozomi befriends her while Chise and Fumino spend the entire episode squabbling, most of it initiated by Chise. That’s really all there was to it, aside from dodgier art and animation than usual. The guys were off buying anime junk the whole time, but we still had to suffer through about a minute of Ieyasu screaming through a telephone. The only thing of major note is that Honoka’s mother looks like a dude. She must get her genes from her father.

It feels like this episode was building up a little bit to Nozomi wanting to go run back off to her own home or whever she came from, but even while I don’t think highly of the lack of writing staff in this show, I’d expect them to come up with something other than rehashing the opening story for the ending one. Then again, given this series, I wouldn’t be shocked if the final arc had Kaho turn into a succubus and try to drain everybody’s life energy through Ancient Egyptian collectible cards.

I saw it. I just didn’t feel like saying much about it given that everybody else was urinating themselves over it. I would have just made some bad joke about Railgun not existing anyway.

Why wouldn’t you be shocked? That sounds awesome and therefore totally out of place for this show.

Also, no more Yuka Iguchi, please. My ears can only take so much.

Given the nature of this show from the start, I’m beginning to believe this is the most probable ending. Fumino is most likely the winner of this harem series and they probably don’t need a pet cat that can cook. I would assume all cats are grey in the end, so her leaving only makes sense.

what do a tsundere childhood friend, an otaku ideal loli, non blood related older sister and a cat girl got in common? the word cliche! oh and a main character that has less life in him than that cardboard cutout of bruce lee in game of death!
