Didn’t we already have this episode?

Impressions:

After a month of nothing but gag episodes, they try to slip in something that’s nothing but melodrama between Fumino and Takumi? And it’s all just Fumino whining about Takumi not noticing her feelings? And then interrupted by the rest of the cast at the dramatic moment? Oh boy. This is almost like the Brave episode in that it was so full of cliches that it hurt, but absolutely none of them had any kind of joke behind them. Some of the Fumino moments were okay, but I was painfully reminded about how they completely turned back the clock on the last time that Fumino confessed her undying love for Takumi way back at the start of the show, so all this melodrama seemed silly at best.

Unfortunately, there’s not too much to talk about otherwise. Nozomi wanted to go to the beach, so they went. A few generic gags that are so obligatory to every beach episode that I have become convinced that Japanese schoolgirls should never be combined with sticks and sand, and end of nyaa story. Whoever was in charge of drawing the backgrounds this week certainly got their money out of the glare tool in Photoshop though. This is certainly the shiniest episode of this show to date.
