Now this is the kind of DVD extra I like.

Semi-Impressions:

Instead of the usual hot springs/cosplay cheesecake bits, it looks like XX is going to actually produce some DVD specials that may be worth watching. This one had Chuubou coming to Hakufu’s rescue as a mighty warrior and then even getting the girl in the form of Ryomou. This may very well have been better than all previous Ikki DVD specials combined, let alone most of XX. If they had used this for filler episodes instead of fighting giant snakes, there may have been hope.
