You’re killing me, Ryomou.

Impressions:

Come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, Bacchi. Work with me here. Any episode where Gakushuu has one of the best moments has some problems. At least it was better than last week’s Seito-fest and promised at least something yet to come, but I wish they would just let these villains die already instead of bringing people back from the dead constantly or spending yet even more time on Ryomou’s damn dragon. Remember when she was vaguely unhinged instead of just a moping walking pile of angst? I miss that Ryomou. Nowadays, all it seems like she does is go to the doctor, whine about Saji, and be groped by Hakufu. And this episode didn’t even have the third.

Well at least Hakufu’s abuse of Bacchou was slightly amusing, and they did end things with a grand old meeting on the docks. Plus, the preview for next week has Chou-un getting some rare screen time and fighting one of the newbies (whose names I’ve already forgotten). On the other hand… Chuubou. Bleh. I love you, Horie, but Chuubou… ugh. We don’t need somebody whose only job it is to fawn over Koukin and recite Sun Tzu. Well, there is Cowboy Hakufu too. At least that’s a move in the direction of eyecandy, so it’s something. At least it’s better than training montages and bulbous robots.
