A Certain Pizza Hut Delivery Girl #18 — Nice Smocks

February 5th, 2010

I’ll never complain about Index’s exposition ever again.

Impressions:

I like how Mikoto and Kuroko wander all the way around town while stalking a woman who uses trains to deliver pizzas, are never noticed, and then just happen to come upon Uihara and Saten working at their destination. And then the rest of the episode is trying to get their landlady some dick. Because that’s what all women really just need in the end to solve all their problems. A penis. And she can’t have it.

And I die just a little more inside.

Oh wait, no. Next week they apparently all become maids. Now… if Touma became a maid… I think I could get behind that as a throwaway joke episode. Sigh… I miss Touma.

Preview:

Remember that show that had a girl that could shoot lightning?

    Sigh… I miss Touma.

…Railgun has completely broken you, hasn’t it?

  • Topspin says:

Yeah, I agree with you. Railgun’s a huge disappointment. At least Index regularly had some over-the-top action or cute Touma x Biribiri scenes.. much better filler for a needlessly-stretched out 24 episode show. I can deal with ridiculous contrivances and annoying exposition as long as there’s fun to be had. We have so many lame fanservice shows airing, but hardly anything else.

  • anon says:

Where has the Sisters arc gone…

I want my Railgun kicking ass…

  • Lero says:

“You get maid filler and you’ll like it.”
That sounds like a comment from a broken fan of this series.

I can understand that still wonder why they didn’t finish the show in the ep.12.

Maybe those fillers have the purpose to make us to aprecciate Index?

  • Ransom says:

While the manga is getting better and better, the anime is getting worst and worst.

I miss Touma and Index too…

  • TOP2NE1 says:

Back when watching Index, I sometimes thought Touma talked too much. Especially during those end-of-the-arc lectures he used to give the antagonists.

I realize now, I still prefer that over whatever’s happening in Railgun.

  • sage says:

Touma was so likeable. You just gotta LOVE a male lead that beats superpowered beings just by fisting them into submission.

  • Anonymous says:

I started enjoying Railgun a bit more once I acknowledged that it is a slice-of-life show.

Give up, there is not going to be action or significant plot progression until the last 2 episodes.

  • Shinmaru says:

I’m with you. Railgun was so boring to me that I ended up pining openly for Index, and I didn’t even like that series that much.

And clearly this lady should be working at Penis Hut rather than Pizza Hut.

“I’ll never complain about Index’s exposition ever again.”

So you’re not gonna blog the second season?

  • Anonymous says:

This show has super powered girls? What?

  • TJ says:

This show just keeps coasting downhill… *sigh*

  • Wilriback says:

    Meanwhile… Accelerator…

  • Honoo says:

… All’s but a hidden plot to make us all want to see the babbling Touma again. Heh.

  • Anonymous says:

Goddamit! It really has turned into Failgun Yurishit.

What happened to the fight between Mikoto and ITEM?

  • Kurizu says:

i dont what anyone says index rocked and may have not been the best show ever but at least i was interested and entertained. with railgun i always put it off tell im hella bored and i feel like im punishing my self by watching.

  • Yue says:

Mmmmm… wait. As far as this series is concerned, this isn’t under the filing cabinet of “SEINEN”.

I would like to ask the people above; how would you feel if suddenly the show puts you smack~down right into the vicious Accelerator and the SISTERs Arc with body parts flying around and blood gushing over the cold gray cement?

Doesn’t it deserve to maintain its current PG rating on TV? Afterall, since episode 13 we already have that gut~feeling that what is to come is a gawd~enormous cliffhanger of sorts. XD

As with To Aru Majutsu no Index, all the DvDs must be shelved to my collection (like all JCStaff shows with exception of Shana and Nodame Cantabile). ^^

  • Albedo says:

I look forward to the end of this show so I can stop actively ignoring it and can passively ignore it while waiting for Majutsu no Index season 2.

    Touma was amusing at least…

  • Fate says:

I dropped this show a bit back thanks to its terrible progression (none) and lack of action or a half-way decent plot. Rest in peace railgun.
