KIDDY GiRL-AND #06 — There’s No Sex in the Champagne Room

November 19th, 2009

But apparently there’s sex everywhere else.

Impressions:

So… this episode…

This episode…

Hrm…

Yeah…

Where to begin…

Let’s see… it was divided into two distinct halves. Part A was about Ascouer, Q, and Dia spying on their boss having sex in her office until they were caught, whereupon the lovebirds managed to convince the idiot trio that they were just practicing for a magic show. The second half began with a ninja sucking the poison out of another ninja’s butt. Yeah. The girls paid a visit to a host club, complete with the hosts voicing over yaoi for the delight of their patrons until Tama (the Genetech critter) got his Dia-power up and turned into a bishie himself, putting all the others to shame by flagrantly displaying his body for all to drink in.

However, I’d be lying if I didn’t note that it was getting painful trying to hold back the laughter towards the end of the host club half of this episode, but once again, I do feel obliged to mention that I’m rather enjoying this show in spite of the show itself. I think these two things would have been just about last on my list of things I’d like to see out of it, and they really added nothing to any part of it, nor do they really fit in anywhere, but damn it, I was still laughing and wondering just exactly how far they were going to push both halves of it. They even topped it off with a special Wakamoto ED. If nothing else, it’s hard to deny that the staff is having a blast working on this one.

And yes, I’m aware that I just spent a paragraph saying nothing of value.

Are those two who I think they are?!

  • Realis says:

Apparently in this alternate reality Lelouch’s plans against the emperor backfire terribly.

It added absolutely nothing to the show’s plot, but I have no doubt that it was one of the greatest episodes of any anime I have ever witnessed. A must watch. The amount of interpretively subtle external jokes in the second half was ridiculous.

Hey Aroduc, you forgot to add the part with Dia drinking that guy’s milk.

  • arrr says:

No mention of “wa wa wa wasuremono”? I thought that was one of the highlights of the episode. Then again they already pulled off the “Yarinaika”, so this didn’t come to as much of a surprise.

  • CC says:

about the scene with ninjas… he sucked the poison out of another one’s back… not butt;P

  • Hinano says:

so…this anime has YURI YAOI and het? hmm.. is it me or do the green haired chick & the black haired dude remind you of Lelouch and CC? lol

    • Aroduc says:

That green haired chick is Wakamoto.
Yes, I know who you’re actually talking about.
• dbm says:

I predict a “blazing saddles” ending for this show: the girls teleport to the offices of Satelite, whereupon Keiji Gotoh falls down on his knees to Deia and promises to erase the planet-sized Nabeshin afro currently about to destroy earth…
