"Hi, I’m your mute dead sister."
Impressions:
As always, the red world segments really remain just about the only parts of these episodes that are interesting to watch, and since that chunk was only a couple minutes this week, there wasn’t a whole lot interesting going on here. The whole Kukuri thing was particularly poorly handled. "Oh, here’s this girl that’s been stalking you for the last few weeks and looks identical to your dead sister… SAY HI." And then everybody just shrugs it off. Come on, people. Try not to act like inept morons, would you? Kakeru should also probably share these dreams he keeps having of Verard, especially now that he knows that the two of them have the same power. Could be good to know in case… oh… I don’t know… accidentally stopping other people from saving the world by killing them or something. Who knows.
Even so, the animation for Kakeru finally getting his powers was downright abysmal. Even outside of the always terrible stills, that flip made me cringe. This guy can barely walk without tripping over his legs, and now he can leap 8 feet in the air over a charging guy while carrying a sword? Who are you kidding? At least Takahisa wandering randomly into the girl’s bathroom is, well… not quite understandable, but at least not a gross violation of his physical capabilities. I don’t even want to talk about that flashback to his feral child past. Gau gau gau.

Eh…Well, I’m glad I played the eroge first before watching this show. Most of the events feel very disjointed and reordered poorly; Kukuri was supposed to have been introduced before Yukiko and Takahisa, just as an example. And since when was Kakeru capable of fighting Ira by himself?
Oh well.
And I wholeheartedly agree that the Red Night parts are the only things worth watching in this show.
