Element Hunters #01 — Hydrogen! I Choose You!

Use "Bad Science" attack!

New Season Disclaimer:

I try to watch at least the first episode of every new show in a season. However, do not expect anything I say to be fair or balanced. I value my own entertainment above all else and there are some genres or methods of presentation that I just plain do not like and I’m not going to pretend otherwise. I’ll attempt to at least make a cursory explaination of what did and did not please me about each show, but it’s just a simple fact of life that my tastes are mine alone. Feel free to express your own opinions in the comments, just keep it under control. This is just television after all.

Impressions:

Can I just call this a generic awful kid’s show and call it a day? A bunch of kids go into a haunted house, find a deranged cosplaying android who sends them into another dimension to fight a dragon made out of nitrogen with their magical cellphones. Specbloody-tacular. I would rather watch Pretty Cure than this. At least they transform into things that use flying elbow chops instead of turning dragons into ammonia. I do have to wonder why the future has blimps again. Maybe history really is cyclical.

The long and short of it is that if you’re reading this, then you’re too old to enjoy it. If you are young enough to enjoy it, then I apologize sincerely for corrupting you and hope that your team wins at the Youth Soccer Jamboree next weekend.

Holy shit they got nitrogen back into the earth, that means humans were breathing nearly pure oxygen before then? Wouldn’t they have oxidised and the whole planet burnt to ashes?

This series blows, makes me want to rage as someone who studies science

    Ridiculous…

  • serenade_beta says:

Just the other day, I found out the person who designed this also designed the characters for TOS-R… No wonder why the girl looked like Marta…
I wish he designed a better show though… Have no interest in this…

  • Yue says:

Collect all Elements… and they come in glorious sets according to the Periodic Table.

  • Di Gi Kazune says:

I dare not think what will happen when they come across Uranium and Plutonium.

    • Solaris says:

I don’t think such a serie could last enough episodes to reach Atomic Number #92. :P

      • Yue says:

Oh! And don’t forget FUSING elements into compounds. Kurae!! Sodium Chloride!! ^o^
