Minami-ke: Welcome Back #12 — Bedtop Antics
March 22nd, 2009
Maki and Mako getting sweaty on Haruka’s sheets. Hrm hrm hrrrrrrmmmm…
Impressions:
Overall, a pretty decent episode, but the highlights were definitely the first couple parts. There was also a very VERY noticeable spike in animation and art quality this week, although again, it trailed off quite a bit in the later going. The whole tournament commentary through part 1 was mildly amusing enough to keep me smiling, and watching Mako and Kana try to suppress their laughter has that unconscious social effect where you can’t help but get drawn in as well.. Hosaka lurking in the doorway… never moving… even as the days passed, quite a nice touch, although also probably the creepiest he’s actually been in quite a while. Natsuki’s instinctual violent response was also amusing. I’m as much a fan of depantsing Haruka as the next guy, but that joke was just a bit too obvious and drawn out.
Part 1 was Chiaki finding the perfect warm spot to nap, despite it being in the living room and the others trying to reason with her to move until Haruka came in with treats, at which point Kana refused to let her move. Part 2 was Maki fueled chaos. Some reverse headlocks applied to Mako. Some drawing on faces. More napping. Chiaki was doing some sewing in part 3 until she accidentally cut Haruka’s skirt. She sewed it up, but the dangling thread tempted Maki into deskirting Haruka in front of Natsuki. The final part was Kana becoming dissatisfied with the status quo between her and Chiaki, but her efforts to change it mostly backfired because Chiaki expected ulterior motives.
Caps are a little small because I don’t feel like waiting for a better raw this week.

So, Hayami-senpai turned Maki into a shotacon, the way she herself is into younger girls?
