So peeved that I called off the hiatus 11 hours ahead of time.

No, not because the poor Cardinals lost, although Harrison should seriously have been thrown out of the game for the flagrant BS he pulled. Seriously… he held the guy down, punched him, then as soon as possession changed, he goes for the blatant foul. Premeditated, unsportsmanlike, and aggrevated. And all it cost them was a yard. At least that yard will probably come with a very large fine, though it doesn’t give the win to the right team.

But not because of that. Because the crew for Spectacular Spiderman just finished work on the second season, and have now been laid off. I hate you so much, American animation industry. So very very much.

Slayers and Casshern will be done some time tomorrow. Xellos and Zuuma show up to wreck havoc in the next ep preview. That’s the only important part really, unless you’ve got a thing for chimera x fish romance. Oh right, there’s some show about some girls or something that I watched.

Impressions:

Let’s get this out of the way. Yes, Makoto’s in drag this episode. No, he doesn’t actually do anything except tap Fujioka’s shoulder and say "Touch." He is, however, the most whipped boy in the world. He pointed out the wet white t-shirts, and then before the girls even realized, he had fetched the buckets and was waiting for punishment. I think he might be a masochist… which really wouldn’t be too surprising I suppose. Speaking of masochism, this episode had a lot more sexuality than Minami-ke normally does. Chiaki deepthroated a faucet, Fujioka repeatedly groped Touma, and of course, the wet t-shirt contest. …Not that there was anything to actually see. Uchida’s brain doesn’t get smaller when wet.

The first part was probably the most amusing, if the least directed. Various pool cleaning antics and the girls drenching each other while Makoto discovers a strange new feeling in his boy bits. The second begins with a lot of Uchida complaining that she’s hot and fanning herself until Chiaki gets the bright idea to increase her water content to 80%. After sucking off a faucet (complete with head bobbing action!) that doesn’t go so well and she’s forced to sit out of the pool fun, were she drops down to 69%. Part 3 was the shortest and the lamest part, just a single long joke about Riko and Fujioka trying to get Kana to invite him to the pool, and part four was a brief shot of their trip, Fujioka’s pimp-factor X, and then a game of Touch involving Fujioka molesting Touma as a match between men multiple times. Sadly, Kana did not similarly molest Makoto, although I’m pretty sure after all the stress and temptation of the episode, he probably would have welcomed it.
