Impressions:

Easily the weakest episode to date, but still rather good. It was rife with RPG parodies this time. The Dragon Warrior/Final Fantasy graphics in parts are obvious, but they also killed a few random slimes and tortured a Nintendo DS demon creature for a bit. What I really didn’t like about this episode was demon lord magic staff Falce, who unfortunately returns the show to many of the creepy chins with giant breasts that just look awkward at best and bad at worst. Her voice is really what annoyed me though. She sounds high. Very high. She does every single line in sing-song too, so she’s just plain irritating to listen to all around. At least we got a few good laughs out of her using Famitsu as the demon’s bible and I always find the Takuto manservice worth a giggle, especially because it’s so much better drawn than all the disproportionate female ‘fanservice.’

The story was also a little more serious than usual, which probably didn’t help the wacky comedy too much. Falce was basically suicidal after her master died and kidnapped weakling Takuto so that a hero would save him and kill her. It’s too bad the whole "aw, she’s dead now" moment was ruined approximately two months ago by her prominence in the OP… so… there went that fabricated 60 seconds of drama. I thoroughly enjoy Takuto’s perverted neighbor having fine wine and giving Takuto the thumbs up while he’s in the middle of a catfight.
