Impressions:

So, you certainly can’t call the staff of Penguin Girl uncreative. They have taken the last 12 episodes and stitched together an episode out of parts of them with completely new voices and sounds and such. Not just new voices, but occasionally switching character voices. Sebastian and Kaede’s VAs switched, so for this one, Kaede busted out with the deep, manly man voice while Seb had the squeaky loli. Seb also voice Marie for that matter. It was like an AMV with humorous voiceovers instead of the real ones… only this one was done by the makers of the show. That’s kind of genius, yet creepy in a strange way.

There was even less of a plot than normal as it focused on mostly in-jokes about the production of the show and the characters themselves. The best part was the PENGY RANGERS. Featuring Pengy Red (Pengy), Pengy Pink (Kujira), Pengy Blue (Kaede), Pengy Red (Xia Ci), and Miko. And yes, there are two Pengy Reds. Well, I have to admit that I nearly spit out my drink when Seb’s voice came out of Kaede. I think at this point, the only thing I can say about the show these days is that I have absolutely no idea what I’m even watching anymore.
