Vampire Knight #11 — Yuuki Prefers it From Behind
June 16th, 2008
And from her family.
Impressions:
Goor lord, this episode was boring as sin. Not one of the fun sins like lust or wrath either, one of the boring sins like wearing white after Labor Day. Nothing quite spices up your vampire drama like 22 minutes of talking heads, mostly moping about the same damned things they’ve been moping about since day 1. Alright, Ichiru came in and got all up in Zero’s face at the start, but after threatening death and trying to attack them, he was so taken aback by his sword falling into his old teacher that he just gave up. Weren’t you trying to kill someone in there? Or at least cause grave bodily harm? Apparently he was swinging his sword around in a futile attempt to hug people.
Most of the rest of the episode was Yuuki heavily heavily angsting over what to do about saving Zero and possibly betraying Kaname. Oh, and Kaname bit her from behind. Aside from the whole "asking to be raped" fetish and Zero slamming her around while chomping on her, the scene was blissfully free of any moaning or heavy breathing this time around. Of course, we still had Zero sucking away like a chubby kid on a milkshakeand Yuuki with her usual dazed look of bliss, but then again, she was pretty much like that when Aidou had her all iced up way back when. I’m pretty sure she’s just a masochist anyway. Let’s not even touch on how many times she’ll have to put out for Kaname in exchange for that dress either.
Oh yeah, and Shizuka’s body is being kept in a giant crystal under the school or something. I sort of zoned out during the 20 second closeup of Yuuki’s shoes during the dance after she shared her sob story about being attacked by a vampire for the umpteenth time. For all I know, they used that moment to reveal that Kaname was really a magical stuffed goat. Hmmm… wrong series…
