Impressions:

Kind of a strange episode for this show. Most of it was based around some guy named Rindo that Ginka used to live next door to. Yes, that blonde is Ginka. He takes a cat into his house, which then becomes a catgirl and he has his way with her. It really is straight out of a bad hentai game. Well, aside from the crossdressing gay neighbor. Hentai game hero even has bills piling up and is a poor university student. At least they did make fun of it a little bit, but that still doesn’t change that the episode was about a guy falling in love with a catgirl who was hot for her kiss reward. And yes, he just calls her ‘Cat’ the entire episode until the end.

Ginka did stir the pot a bit, which was amusing, but him dressed as a female the whole time, complete with padded breasts, was a bit freaky nonetheless. He also drove a car that looked like a big penis. Draw your own conclusions as to whether that was intentional or not. I did like that Rindo and the soldiers kept screaming/shooting at the lovey couples on campus, so there was comedy there.

When the soldiers come to chase Rindo and the catgirl off, he trips over Kyouka who begs for food, so he gives her the catfood he’s been carrying around, which makes her come to his aid later and then run off again as quickly as she showed up. We even made it out of the episode with only a very short "family is important speech" which I’m pretty sure was ruined by the knowledge that Rindo went back home and had his way with the cat. Lord knows that he did need to prove his heterosexuality in some way after dressing as a maid to clean toilets in a gay bar. That’s a triple whammy right there.
