Impressions:

What do you want from me? This was more of the same. It did seem like the animation quality took a couple steps up from the first season, but I couldjust be misremembering things. The important thing is that it’s more of Zetsubou Sensei. If you’ve watched the first season, this is more of the same. The blotted out class roster except for the main characters especially made me laugh, though almost all of it was pretty quality as expected. Kafuka’s rant about how Komori was a hearth spirit also entertained me just because it reminded me of xxxHOLiC’s own hearth spirit.

And yes, Shaft is still pulling their usual tricks with the OP and ED. The OP happens 8 minutes into the episode, and like the first season, is just a wall of text for now. The ED is as stylish as the first, though bishified Itoshiki scares me deeply. Anyway, stop bothering me, I’m sure Totali has far more interesting things to say on this episode.
