Amazing Detective Labyrinth #13 — Nice Sleuthing, Encyclopedia

December 25th, 2007

I think this may very well be the first time actual detective work was done.

Impressions:

Covering this today has more to do with the crushing boredom of my home as every member of my family naps except for my siblings and I than with anything interesting happening this episode. Sanae bonds with her shota. She even picks him up and holds him by the head in her chest. I’m pretty sure that would kill him, especially since he was dangling a good foot off the ground supported by her arms around his neck with his face stuffed in her cleavage. Then Byakko stealthily walks around and lures Sanae off (after the worst cliffhanger at the commercial break ever: they turn around and Sanae has disappeared… then when it returns, she’s climbing out of a manhole that she fell into, then runs off and disappears) and then puts up a folding fake wall to throw the rest off her tracks. I don’t think that’s worse than the rollerskating zombies, but it certainly threatens to be up there. Mayuki finally gets to meet Byakko’s swarthy master at the end of the episode. He apparently shops at the same clothing store as Mayuki. Where on Earth do they find these Victorian era outfits in neo-Tokyo anyway?

Just a note, as expected, it’s taking next week off for New Year’s.

That wouldn’t be nearly as amusing! I must say though it kinda tempts me to take this back up again, for the amusement, or maybe because im masochistic, I’m not sure. Still i don’t know whats more effective for making people watch stuff, extolling its virtues, or laughing at its inadequacies! (which i don’t think i can spell)
