Amazing Horie Yui #06 — Screw The Boy Detective

November 6th, 2007

What am I even watching?

Impressions:

You know, if somebody would just release the Night Wizard raws at a relatively decent hour, I’d probably be able to ignore this entirely, but the afternoon comes and between this and Kaiji, one has a chance of accidently entertaining me while the other has a chance of making my mathematician blood boil with its completely inept grasp of statistics and basic game theory.

Why am I even paying attention to this show again? Oh, right… because I’m in love with Horie Yui’s badass voice. Luckily, I can play Civilization 4 at the same time as ‘watching’ it for anything interesting that happens. The neverending quasi-magical ramblings and meanderings through the school or mansion are easy enough to ignore, roller skating zombies or Byakko… now that gets my attention.

I really have nothing else to say really, except a plaintive cry for Night Wizard raws to appear sooner to put me out of my misery. *sigh*

Evil Yui Horie rocks, the rest of this show does not. I’ve only seen the first three episodes and I have absolutely no idea what’s going on. And if your entries on the remaining episodes are any indication, it doesn’t look like I would have the foggiest idea anytime soon.
