One more episode (and then a spring hiatus? Or completely over?), and looks like we’re going out with a bang.

95% of this episode was some pretty awesome action, including but not limited to Kisaragi vs Evil Lightning Yoda. After Aoi stabs Hiyuu in the gut and she snaps out of it, the tables turn and everybody kills the monsters they were fighting, including Rai cutting off Kodzuno’s hand. This breaks them out of Kodzuno’s dream world and Hiyuu tries to make peace with him, letting Kodzuno beat him up for a little bit. It’s more than a little disturbing to see Kodzu wail on Hiyuu with his stump. Hiyuu has enough of it and clocks Kodzuno, whereupon he and Marie are dragged underneath by the monsters he summoned and the ground starts to erupt with evil energy for our big final FINAL showdown of the first part.
