Myosai vs Shuuyu and Gakushu followed by 5 minutes of recap. Ew.

Episode opens with Gakushu fighting Myosai, and after taking a few blows, clocks her with a chi blast blowing out half the hallway. Then she uses her yoyo thing in chi attack to attack him, which Shuuyu intercepts and destroys before she retreats. 

There were quite a bit of flashbacks as Ryomou spilled the beans on everything she had been doing up until now and why. Nanyo now also knows about Ryuubi’s dragon, as well as Teni, I just wish they hadn’t blow the second quarter of the episode on flashbacks.

The second half then also started with Shiba-I and Kakouen flashing back to Kakuka’s death as well. Most of the rest of the episode was spent around Shiba-I’s plotting and machinations to get Kannu to surrender and then the monks of Kyosho carrying out that plan in another very well animated fight. At the end of the episode, Ryuubi’s team is surrounded by Kakouen and a bunch of generics which forces Kannu to surrender and come with them.

At least the two fights were rather well done. I certainly could have gone without the 5 minutes of flashback though.
