Impressions:

Ten years ago, the magical girlfriend appears one day and moves in would be a springing off point to all manner of wacky hijinks and slapstick. More Mahoraba or even Kanokon, less… this. Magical fox girlfriend appears, and… What? You wanted more than that? Well, her tail is fluffy. That's it. She pats your head. You pat her tail. There is no further characterization. There is no further story. There is no comedy. There is no drama. There is nothing, because something might rub someone the wrong way. There is only this fetishistic wish fulfillment fantasy about a girl popping in to slavishly attend to your every desire. Except not porn either. It'd make perfect sense if it was porn. Perhaps that's what the best description of this is: Porn minus the sex.

    Reading that I really pity you, because that means you didn’t see the series about Merlin’s son yet. Your soul is gonna get crushed after that one.

    This stuff bores me but considering the types that want to grab anime/manga by the balls I rather have more Senkos over not + no Mahoraba/Kanokon clones.

    Yeah the “healing” type anime have never really done it for me. I think they were going for laughs with the tail petting but it honestly felt more uncomfortable than anything else.

    I definitely prefer what they did in this episode rather than have her loudly orgasm from the tail massage, which is what I was expecting, but I guess this isn’t based on a light novel.

    I’d take mediocre cutesy girl does nothing not even make dumb faces with mathematical symbols for eyes for 12 episodes over kanokon though, that there is a low bar.
