The terrible infodump was more insulting than the… everything else.

Impressions:

The very first image is a silhouette of a naked woman with her genitals splayed across the screen. It would be only the first in close to a minute of similar shots. The next minute would be a conversation of about twelve words total stretched out through numerous shots of backs of the head and butts. I think that it's important to review and celebrate those two minutes because they're the high point of the episode. Further in, we have a barely animated monster fight followed by about ten straight minutes of being naked, chained down, and forced to listen to exposition about all the rape he's going to be doing. But remember, this is a fumbling everyboy, so here's also thirty seconds of him fumbling to undo his cousin's bra while she blushes like a strawberry because he said he was attracted to her in a foreign world's rape dungeon.

And this franchise was so successful that it got a sequel. Lovely. The best that can be said is that nobody thought this was worth spending any money on at all. Even the almost-porn is basically slideshows, to say nothing of literally every other scene. I swear, that meeting with the king had like six frames total, one of which was a shot of a chandelier. What is it with this season and sexual assault? We haven't even gotten to Senran Kagura yet, and that has stripping/groping your enemies as an intrinsic game mechanic.
