Impressions:

These characters certainly haven't gotten less irritating, and since the creators seem to believe that the cool part of this is how bland Blando is, how much she wants to refuse the friendship of a manic psychopath because then she might feel emotions, and how much she refuses the call to adventure, the story's moving with the immediacy of a fat guinea pig tied to a brick. Like many other shows I could name, the parts where it actually indulges itself in being psychodelic animation porn… fine. I still won't say that it's particularly entertaining since it was about one point mouth fetishism and one part "CHECK OUT THIS PSYCHODELIC ANIMATION PORN" without being anywhere nearly as unhinged as, say, Superjail or something from Jhonen Vasquez, but certainly preferable to about thirty seconds straight of them screaming each other's names.

Maybe the very end of the episode indicates that it will be spending more time in "has a budget"-land. The preview certainly seems to indicate as much. I'll believe it when I see it though, and certainly wouldn't be surprised if they found a way to make that world suck like ol' Kyousougiga did with such success.

Where the hell did the Terminators from the end of last episode go anyway?
