Qualidea Code #03 — Laser Animation Technical Difficulties

Who needs in-between frames anyway?

Impressions:

You'd think this episode would continue the rotation to semi-focus on the last pair; the only pair who seems to take a modicum of enjoyment into having powers of mass destruction at their beck and call. You'd be wrong. It's back to Angsto The Magnificent, singlehandedly murdering entire fleets of the enemies while they harmlessly float around in the air. I'm not sure they even attack once until after a few hundred are killed, and that's stopped by a handful of teenagers putting up a shield that their ineffectual little lasers plink off of. I'm really starting to think that the humans are the bad guys here. It's not even clear what 'hurt' her at the end. There was just a sudden little blood splatter and she fell over. Even after showing her body, I still couldn't tell where she was… shot, I guess? A pinky lasers somehow made it through? Or maybe she was shivved for the awful insert song by one of her jealous palquin carriers.

The rest of the episode was hardly worth mentioning. There's some new sea thing. Let's discuss it for five minutes, then we can have Angsto angst at children's drawnings before going off to growl about how he can do everything by himself. Saturdays, why are you sucking so much again?

This disaster might be more baffling and poorly made than endride and chaos dragon combined.

After gracing us with bizarre cape + swimsuit action last week they needed a week off to figure how they could make the third girl look weirder.
