Don’t let the story go too fast, guys.

Impressions:

There are these moments where you sort of suspect that the staff is aware that Hajimessu is a babbling imbecile by the way all the characters simply stop and stare while she prattles nonsense, but we all know that’s a lie. Anyway, this episode was boring and pointless. After the ‘cliffhanger’ last week, it was maybe a minute or two before Whose-His-Face simply surrendered with a “I got what I wanted to done,” and everyone pretty much shrugged that off without a second thought. After that would be about 18 straight minutes of people standing around having chatsies to review and recap current events, adding nothing, providing no direction, and suggesting no action to be taken on anybody’s part, along with the occasional interruption by the large breasted nimrod to speak in tongues. The show only even vaguely showed a minor trace of life again at the very end when Hajimessu took a nap as the clown screamed, and the alien turned into an adult man. Because why not?

Frankly, neither this nor Working has made even a half decent case as for why I should finish them out so far this season. Blegh.
