Yeah, okay. That’s not still amazingly dumb at all.

Impressions:

Another episode of 95% talking heads blathering on about absolutely nothing at all, least of all anything related to what can only charitably be called the plot, and another tragic flashback simply spat out and not really connected to anything, which is to say, another crapariffic episode where nobody tried to do anything and basically nothing got done. Yeah, there’s the ‘thrilling’ cliffhanger that the government guy was secretly the third magic kid wearing a magic science mask that covers his entire body, including his hair and eyes, but is made out of flimsy plastic. But, you know, after reminding us of the dumb “she collapses from tragic heroine disease” last week at the start of this episode and unceremoniously resolving it with “and then she got better… for now,” this show has long past exhausted that particular avenue for pretending that this cliffhanger will actually mean something. I guess it was a marginal improvement over last week since it actually showed something different happening from the last week instead of simply saying that he had totally changed something even though it looked nothing at all like it.
