Bloom and Polka Dots #Whatever — Four Seems About Right

April 24th, 2014

Now this is lack of effort.

Non-Impressions:

I quickly flipped through the treasure thing and Blade and Soul in hopes that either would show at least enough action to warrant any manner of thought, but one was apparently about a trip to the CGI glass dimension, and the other was about being sick in bed with the lurgies for twenty minutes. So I turned this on with a weary sigh, then walked away as soon as the OP played to marinate dinner and when I got back, I just really didn’t want to sit through it anymore. So let’s just ignore it and move on to a game tomorrow that has an astonishing amount of rap and not nearly enough eyes. I feel like both those things could have been better allocated.

On a different front, since I enjoy hiding things in unrelated posts, I’ve hit a bit of a wall with my project. Apparently the engine is much more complicated than first (technically like… fourth) expected. And along with the realization that it’s about 20,000 lines longer than expected, plus another probably 35,000 from the supplemental stuff, which is about 20,000 more than I expected from that alone, and nothing to work with but broken tools with rapidly dwindling hope of them being fixed, and I’m not feeling particularly motivated to continue working on it instead of moving to more promising pastures. Dumping all the work into the freezer doesn’t appeal to me either, but I could literally start two games from scratch and be closer to finished, so… feh.

Venting over. Stabbing cyclopses tomorrow.

I’m impressed that you are still blogging this incredible dull show. I have seen Plenty of half-assed flash animation with better backgrounds than this.

    • Aroduc says:

You could at least pretend to read.

“it’s about 20,000 lines longer than expected, plus another probably 35,000 from the supplemental stuff, which is about 20,000 more than I expected from that alone”

Everyone needs a hobby I guess.

  • The Phantom says:

Sure I did read it, but even if you are ignoring it, you are still took the time to fully put this together, and change the next episode template, when you usually could not careless.
