Impressions:

Those have to be the worst hostage-takers ever. “Mind if I go root around in my backpack for a while? Oh, a skin-tight costume. Mind if I get changed into it? Yeah? Great. I mean, you’ve got my frog tied up. What am I going to do? A little dance? Okay, I guess I can do that.” Although I suppose that probably went without saying when one of them jumped up on a table and started ranting about world conquest to swing jazz. This episode may have also set a new record for Most Nuclear Crotch. That thing was blazing with enough light to sterilize half of Japan. No wonder they have population growth issues. I don’t even know why since she had multiple panty shots later. You’d also think someone who works in law would understand that jumping into the middle of a hostage situation with nothing more than a ribbon, fiery crotch, and window to the breasts wouldn’t be the best idea. Then again, those kids seemed remarkably happy after seeing someone shot right in front of them, although I’d lean a lot harder toward stupidity.

As for the content, this week gave the lawyering a break for just an old-fashioned hostage situation. Oh, and Ceci was in trouble or something because she’s a stupid irresponsible kid and acts like a stupid irresponsible kid, but if you skipped the first minute or so and last 30 seconds, you’d miss that entire weak attempt at a framing device. I guess the only things that weren’t… well… stupid, were the various reveals toward the end. Mayo’s got timestop powers, which seems a tad excessive. Guy cop is also a corrupt murderer and in on the whole “get Ceci” plot or whatever you want to call it.
