Valvrave #15 — Penetrating Little Children
October 24th, 2013
Why does everybody this season have immortality as a super power.
Impressions:
Another episode I spent most of it napping. They crashland right next door to Elf’s old child soldier factory (of course they did), prompting flashbacks and some of the worst child assassins around. Come on. A single body shot and then you go running off? At least double tap that bitch. But that’s okay. They kind of forgot to wrap up that side of the episode. Or well… do anything with it actually. They infiltrate, get into position I guess, and then are forgotten about for the last five minutes of the episode. Mission bloody accomplished.
Which of course, has absolutely everything to do with the random girl who apparently has amnesia but has secretly intimately connected with the valvraves all along. Maybe that’s some other thing that came up in the first season that I’ve also completely forgotten, much like everything else in the first season. I would have definitely preferred it if they had just blown up her head like they did that one soldier, but no, apparently she gets to be immortal too, just like apparently damn near every single character on this show and this season. Shouldn’t we be killing one at some point anyway. Even if it’s just throwing them into a jet engine. The whole "team of body switching super vampires flying magical super robots crushes all the terran planetary defenses" is not generally how you want to be describing your protagonists.
Next Episode:
More ravines.

I’m glad you’re watching this crap so I don’t have to.
