Rozen Maiden Zurückstufen #03 — The Eeyore Chronicles

July 18th, 2013

So that’s now a quarter of the show down and all we’ve established is that Jun put all his points in being pathetic.

Impressions:

Here’s a fun riddle for the whole family. What’s worse than just watching Jun continue to be a sullen, moping putz? Flashbacks of Jun being a sullen, moping putz. Good god, Deen. You had him established as a sullen, moping putz about two minutes into last week’s episode. So what the hell was the point of the last 40 minutes? Just to make absolutely ultra super mega duper double dog patsy patsy no take backs omega sure that everybody knows just how big a pile of crap Jun is? I swear to Isis, Shinku slapping a bitch at the end was the only glimmer of anything I even vaguely wanted to see out of these last two episodes from this series. If magical dolls don’t start attempting to kill each other (or preferably Jun), then, well, I’m probably just going to ignore you, show, like I do dozens of others. But this time, it will be out of spite. Well, more than usual.

Next Episode:

This does not look like doll fighting.

    Heh, not bad.

  • Flood says:

This re-boot that’s not really a re-boot, is WAY too emo for me. Why did they take this route? Is this an original story or out of the Manga?

    Anyone? Bueller?

    • Aroduc says:

I believe it is in the source, although I doubt that it’s this drawn out or miserable.

  • The Phantom says:

I never liked this series to begin with, but This looks tediously boring.

You’re acting like this is surprising, what wasn’t taken up by Kun-Kun and a half decent fight in the last few episodes of season 1 was a constant sound of Jun whining. Rozen Maiden has always been horrible, people just remember it with nostalgia glasses.
