K #11 — Eye Weasel

Those things looked more painful than the ‘stabbing.’

Impressions:

The ‘action’ in this episode was surprisingly lame. The first half/start of the fight especially. At least it was present, but even compared to the ultra dynamic skateboarding earlier in the series, Go Hands was really half-assing it. Guess the budget’s running on fumes. I still probably don’t have to mention that I dislike the entire Red/Blue squad stuff either. The Fugitive plotline was good enough to carry… uh… The Fugitive for years. It’s good enough to carry this for a couple months. It wasn’t as talking-headful as it usually is, but it still wasn’t pleasant.

Thankfully, Kitty and Krew did show up again about ten minutes in. Not to do much other than save/reintroduce themselves to Whose-Her-Face, briefly spar with Red, and then get ‘stabbed.’ It wasn’t until the last few minutes that they came out directly with the possessions, flashbacks, and attempted stabbings, and you know how I like stabbings, so at least that’s one out of three. They probably could’ve made that a bit more jarring though by not telegraphing it. Or by making it bloody. It was almost comical how he was staggering around and going into traumatic flashbacks while clutching nothing. He’s about to explode in a giant magic sword and declare his true name after all. You can toss in a little bloodloss to actually fuel that. Nobody’s going to complain about mutant healing factor during sudden sword eruption, although consult a physician if it lasts more than four hours.

I still fail to imagine how you could piss more on Psycho Pass than on this one.

Those who abuse the privilege to annoy me by being uncreative and repetitive with it may find themselves with new friends.
Namely the spambots they’ll be grouped with.
      And KLAC.
      And everyone who posts “First!”
There’s a button specifically for all of that.

I think we can pretty much call it Guilty Crown tier of 2012, though with a worse music and even much worse plot.

Yup. And I don’t really have anything other to add than that.

You said exactly what I was thinking haha
