Armored Angels #06 — Bomb Timer Irregularities

November 8th, 2012

Some things are universal.

Impressions:

You’d think there’d be a little better security. Or at least something preventing small mechanical creatures with laser weaponry from running around in a plane’s luggage hold. What was the Patriot Act for if not to address the menace of six inch tall weaponized sentient action figures owned by terrorists? Okay, so it wasn’t a real bomb, but that just made the whole thing weirder and more than a little inane. The fight(s) were fairly weak this episode too.

You’d also have thought they’d do a little more with the disguise things, or whatever you want to call it. A couple bad generic questions and then MAAAAAAAAASTER grabbing her out of the swarm of identical ones at the end was it. See? He knows her so well! Isn’t that… uh… something. Just shoot both and sort it out later. It’s almost insulting that they determined the real one by knowing Hina’s name. Seriously? That’s the only piece of information you can think of that a complete stranger wouldn’t know? And this only even comes after the fight is over? You failed to even reach the most basic cliches for this kind of situation, show.
