Impressions:

Apparently it’s Sweeps Season in Hidarmari land. How many damn baths do these people need? How dirty do they get during the course of their regular days? Dirty dirty girls. We’re somehow up to I think five baths over two episodes encompassing the entire cast nearly twice over, and yet still no bath for the squeaky melon. You’re not going to win Sweeps only half-assing it, Shaft. Nor will using the theremin you picked up at a garage sale.

Anyway, about the same as always. They usually do a better job of hiding the four panel format than they did during the first half of the episode with the quick cuts between Hokkaido and home, but I think it actually may have worked a little bit here. At the very least, it provided enough jolting shifts to keep me from drifting into the dull haze I usually find myself in while watching this show. I guess that counts as a ‘win?’ Just more of touring Hokkaido, combustion powered swans, and taking baths. Same ol, same ol.
