Impressions:

I’m not what one would call the biggest fan of Hidamari. It’s usually right up against the line between dull and placid. This episode was unfortunately very firmly in the former’s camp. No surprises here at all with production or the like. Yoshinoya wearing a sea urchin hat and bear suit can only do so much. The entire first half was futzing around how Hiro and Sae were going off to Hokkaido with Sae’s tertiary lesbian harem for a little bit. Notice how eager they were to get her to spread her legs and ride the mechanical horse. And… uh… then Yuno had to try to fix some of Nazuna’s nasty cooking. Of course it’s terrible. It’s Nazuna Omigawa.

To really mix things up for this season, half the cast took baths at the end instead of just Yuno. And… uh… The End.
