I’m disappointed there wasn’t an entire Little Shop sequence.

Impressions:

A particularly Japanesey episode. Well, they all are, but this one was moreso than usual. Audrey II and the Blue Man Group jokes aside at any rate. It is staying a bit better than it was in those particularly dull middle episodes, but this one was a slide backwards from the last couple without any particularly good jokes this time around, just some references tossed out. Referential humor should be able to stand on its own, not have the reference be the entire joke. Becoming Doraemon because you’re blue isn’t really a joke. Nor does pointing it out after the fact add to the punchline which has already been made.

Anywho. The first part didn’t begin great, but it could’ve been worse. Insomnia into dreams. Very Japanese dreams. The touring segment remains exceedingly dull through and through. You’d think hey’d be able to do at least something creative with weird modern art, but no, apparently not. Ninja/scary things ‘hidden’ in plain sight/paint everything blue. And that’s all I have to say about that.
