Oh Right, Comiket’s Coming Soon

Granted, I haven’t really gone deeply searching (yet), but it’s looking like a fairly underwhelming on as far as games go. Nothing’s really caught my eye and the ‘big’ groups aren’t really doing much more than at best, releasing more trials… or art books of old games. Exciting. I just want AQLoop to finish World of TWAIN already so they can go make something decent instead. Or that Werk would stop making Im@s porn and go back to games. I have no idea what Tasofro’s doing making some kind of fairly generic isometric puzzle… thing… either. And thus we filled the Thursday morning that the Olympics pre-empted all the shows for.

    Well, bcause he seems to enjoy some awful shows so I figure that he might enjoy games that people deem awful, notably CoD.

    The shop Akibaoo has World of Twain listed with a 8/11 release date so it should be finished for this Comiket.

    According to the [erka:es] blog, the mythical RKS:Freu appears to be finished except for some things with the “another mode” so while I don’t expect it at C82, it might actually make C83.

    I agree this Comiket doesn’t look very interesting and I’ve spent quite a bit of time looking for info. I’m just happy Takkoman finally came out.

    asuras wrath is where its at. Plenty of unnecessary screaming and hilarious button bashing plus anime trope stealing not bettered anywhere else. if its not dragonball/bleaach/naruto/onepiece ripoff moves its hot spring scenes.boinnnnnng.

    any decent strategy jrpgs or any cho aniki type games?

    There are three things I’m looking forward to from next weekend:

    1. Snow Gale’s　夢幻偽郷 ～ First Disaster (aka Touhou Profile)

    2. Cubetype’s　幻想の輪舞 (I love love love Senko no Ronde)

    3. The Touhou Bomberman clone made by someone I’m entirely not familiar with (コスプレ喫茶娘々 ???). But hey, it’s 4p bomberman; how can that not be fun?

    I guess that Tenshi’s Tempest game is looking pretty slick too, but it’s only a trial so whatever.

    First Disaster was out at the end of May, although it isn’t hitting stores until after Comiket at some point. It’s a bit disappointing.

    Wasn’t that just the v0.5 trial or whatever that came out in May? Man, I’m gonna be sad if I missed out on the full release by a half year, even if it is underwhelming.
