You’d think there’d be more licking.

Impressions:

Odd. Apparently they decided to add some new red headed character and then begin with her having delusions of all the rest of the lesbians fighting over her. Uh, okay? Unfortunately, as is usual for the show, that joke did go on a bit long without much variety in it. Chinatsu, Himawari, and Ayano were about the only ones with good twists on it. Most of the rest were just going through the motions substituting the usual targets of their affection for Red instead of actually turning it into a joke. Or just popping out of the floor to drool. God, I hate the Ikeda sisters. It was obviously a dream from about 5 seconds in though. They should’ve been overplaying a lot of that stuff far more. It was still a better segment than I remember the show usually having, but it could’ve easily been much better.

Then for the second half, it was time to go to a hot springs inn for mostly ping pong and vending machine jokes. Chinatsu’s hair also devours anything that touches it and then releases them when wet. Again, a joke that could’ve/should’ve been overplayed more. Have it dump out a dead rat or devour one of their towels or something too. And then we watched them watch Kyouko’s in-show show. Really not entirely sure why they went on for as long as it did, or again, why they didn’t turn it into more of a joke than just some bland lipservice to "this is apparently supposed to be a parody." Well, this segment was a little more par for the course from what I remembered at any rate, although still better than much of the first season thanks to the lack of the annoying glasses things. Let’s keep them out of the show as long as possible.
