Not taking you seriously when you’re practicing squeezing phallic things in your cleavage.

Impressions:

I know I’m sounding like a broken record with this show, but I really can’t stand Rea’s father, and not because he’s supposed to be the antagonist… sort of. He’s just so badly written and they don’t seem to be able to figure out what the hell they’re trying to do with him… and then the intro segment ends with… "Haha! Naked old man." Could we at least try for a little consistency here? Although at this point, I think it’s too late to salvage him and it’d be best if he were just forcibly ejected from the show forever. Ranko also falls into that category. All she’s done thus far is plaster T&A over the screen and pop up at inopportune times to get in the way.

The show would be a whole lot better served if it would move a lot faster… maybe say by getting rid of that entire sequence where she pops up and pulls Chihiro away, the point of which I’m still trying to figure out. Probably to give an excuse for Rea to get naked, do breast exercises with a phallic object (real subtle), be groped, and then lounge around naked, moanining, and in a daze for the last five minutes, reduced to little more than a sex object. Again, we could use a little bit of consistency here. The driving force behind her actions was escaping being her father’s sexual object to be a normal girl. Going straight from that into being Chihiro’s/the audience’s sexual toy is a poor step.
