Impressions:

Urgh. This was not a good day for shows. This episode was so slow, repetitive, and cliched as hell. "I am a genius, therefore I’ll win!" "Oh no, hard work and effort momentarily beat me!" And then for segment 2, "I am a genius, therefore I’ll write this love letter." "Oh no, hard work and effort is better!" What creativity and variety. Did we really need two utterly humorless segments centered around the exact same thing? One of which was a carryover from last week. It’s not even a sensical message since they’ve shown that Hitoyoshi’s a talented fighter. But judo’s apparently completely different because… judo! And winning one of ten points by catching your opponent by surprise… yeah, that’s not exactly what I’d call a rousing defeat except in the world of Jump.
