Impressions:

Well, this was as unpleasant as usual. Remember when he fought a dragon? And shot at a wolf or something? I barely do anymore. Basically, I’m just relying on inertia to carry me to the end of the season with this show. Don’t fail me now, Newton.

This was another split episode even if they were sort of connected. The first half was space filler of the worst kind, mostly a montage consisting of Dalian searching for a stuffed bear and Camilla putting moustaches on things. And… that’s seriously it. "I want a bear. Okay, time to spend half an episode looking for it. Now I have a bear and we will never mention this again." The second half was slightly more interesting, but as usual, it could be summed up as Dalian and Hugh stand around and watch things unfold. Yes, they were tricking the jealous crazy woman with a book, but their plan was still 99% "stand there and pretend to do nothing," which is a drastic departure from their usual strategy of "stand there and actually do nothing." This is also the second or third crazy possessive woman that the show has used as a plot device. I’m ready to go back to the guy with the magical staff/flamethrower now. At least he had a plot. And a flamethrower.
