Idiots, Tests, and Flashbacks #24 — Hi Ho Let’ Go

September 15th, 2011

I don’t even care anymore.

Impressions:

Another melodramatic flashback episode with a single joke. Told three times. I give up. I don’t even care. Flashbacks for everybody. Let’s have a flashback about Mutsurini learning how to use a camera too. Lord knows it can’t be any less relevant to current events than Yuuji and Shouko’s past. Zero other characters are involved and I cannot think of a single way this is connected to the entire Class B thing going on. Besides that, Shouko has barely even been a presence in this season. And now we here’s an epsiode about how Yuuji didn’t like being her friend, but then he learned to be a hero because she stood up to some bullies. There was even the line "This isn’t some manga or anime." I think my eyes rolled so far back in my head that I could see the aneurysm about to pop.

That could be good. I see no way it could be dramatic and angsty, at least.

Oh, I’m sure they’d find a way. I don’t know how, but I’d place money on a lil’ sister character who gave him his first camera and then died, wishing with her last breath that her (not blood-related) brother would become the world’s best voyeur.

Lots of shots of Mutsurini staring at a wall while sad music plays.

How about a episode where Voyeur doesn’t pass out from seeing heaven, and we get to see it.
