Even for this show, this episode was awful.

Impressions:

Triple whammy this week. Flashback episode, zero attempts at humor at all, and the only vaguely amusing members of the cast are completely absent leaving Mayu and Yuzu to… not even actually do much of anything. Yuzu is too boringly perfect a character for her stuff to have any emotional depth to it at all. It’s like the Japanese go out of their way to find excuses for flashbacks too. There was absolutely no reason at all for this to be in the past except perhaps to pad things out an extra few minutes by wasting time setting things up and obliquely talking about what they’re about to show before going ahead and actually doing that. There’s not even anything to make fun of here. I would welcome bizarre/bad fanservice or nuclear-lighted censorship.
