    Eh, the opening song is pretty good I guess….Atleast it’s not another SUNSHINE. But as for animation of the OP itself, it seems like DEEN felt like it was necessary to show every character that are going to appear in the arc, but don’t what the hell to do with them. The fact that they can’t even pull off a decent opening for a battle manga is kind of worrisome.

    Did the show get more budget? Well, judging from that clip, it seems like the quality is pretty good. But on the other hand, it’s just the first episode lol. Hope they can miraculously improve somehow, since this arc is where everything for Nurarihyon.

      I surely hope so. I do hope they implemented expositions and fighting sequences dynamically instead of suffering from “talking stills” and “turtle-speed pacing”.

      This brings back the Soul Eater days.
